The Institute of Monitoring and Evaluation Practitioners, Ghana (IMEP) has officially announced the launch of its Healthy Eating Challenge – 21 Days Without Sugar, Soft Drinks, Bread and Pastries, scheduled to take place from Monday 12th to Thursday 31st January 2026.
The initiative forms part of IMEP’s Health and Wellbeing Programme, aimed at promoting healthier lifestyles among monitoring and evaluation practitioners, development professionals, public sector workers, and the wider professional community.
Promoting Healthier Professionals for Sustainable Impact
The 21-day challenge encourages participants to consciously eliminate refined sugar, soft drinks, bread, and pastries from their diets over the programme period. According to IMEP, the challenge is designed to help participants improve their physical wellbeing, mental clarity, energy levels, and productivity, while fostering discipline and healthier eating habits.
Speaking on the initiative, IMEP noted that professional effectiveness and evidence-driven practice are closely linked to personal wellbeing, making health-focused interventions a key pillar of the Institute’s activities for 2026.

The Healthy Eating Challenge is the first major wellness activity under IMEP’s First Quarter 2026 Programmes, which also include capacity-building courses, professional webinars, and fitness activities. The initiative reflects IMEP’s commitment to supporting not only professional competence but also the holistic well-being of its members and stakeholders.
